Christmas Day Mens Ba' 1998 by Charles Tait
and Ken Amer

The throw-up of the Ba at 13:00 by Archie Findlay.  It was a pleasant day for the game - crisp and dry with sunshine.

The game never went south of the Mercat Cross and by 13:45 the scrum was on the Kirk Green.  By 13:45 it was on Palace Road and by 13:55 it had reached the Museum.

There was considerable fighting which is unusual.  By 14:00 the game had entered Victoria Street

The game stopped outside William Shearer's for abour 90 minutes and finally Kenny Garrioch was the Uppie winner shortly after 17:00.
